Doctor-Dog & Professor-Dog
Volunteers |
|
Caring Canine Toronto
Therapy Dogs is run entirely by volunteer efforts. We appreciate your participation!
§
Some programs/facilities are recruiting
additional volunteers while others may not at the time you join us. Moreover, different placements require
different skills, personalities, travel time, and terms of commitment. Passing the Doctor-Dog evaluation is not
an entitlement to all volunteer positions.
We try to match our volunteers’ interests, skills, and availabilities
(both time and location) while also answering the needs of our community
partners. Volunteers would be
flexible and prepared to travel the distance they specify on their
application forms. Thanks.

Volunteer Photographers |
|
A photo is worth a thousand words. Not only would your photos become the
cherished memory of our vulnerable clients (children with various challenges,
patients, and elders) and volunteers, but they would also promote
animal-assisted therapy and activities to the communities at large. Help us capture the essence of
human-therapy dog bonding, joy, love, laughter, and tears. To volunteer, please email a link to your
photo portfolio (including indoor shots) to admin@caringcanine.ca. THANKS! Note 1: To
protect the privacy of the vulnerable clients we visit, the copyright of all
photos you take of our clients would belong to Caring Canine Toronto Therapy
Dogs. Thank you. You are welcome to own the copyright of
all photos in which our clients do not appear (e.g. photos of our dogs
only). Note 2: As
our volunteer photographer, you would not need to take care of administrative
work. Our administrative volunteers
would sort the images, make a digital copy (and sometimes print hard copies)
for every individual client, and deliver the final products. You would only need to provide us with a
single DVD J |
