Errata

- Reference 4 should read 1983.  The complete (bibtex) reference is

Typos
-----

- On the 5th page, the subscript "expanded" in the equations
  has the letters "exp" in the wrong font.
  The subscript should be read as "expanded" and not "exp anded".

- Reference 13 should read "Zelaznik", not "Zalaznik"

- In the paper that appeared in the printed conference proceedings,

   - Figures 3-5 are incorrectly labelled in their captions as Figures 2-4

   - The labels are missing from the vertical axis
     of the figure on the 6th page

- In the version I have put online (which, the last time I checked,
  corresponded to the copy in the ACM digital library):

   - The labels on both axes of Figure 5 don't show up;
     they seem to be covered by white rectangles

   - Some parentheses, used to enclose arguments to the logarithm function,
     are missing in the equations on the 2nd and 5th pages

There have also been, and may still be, versions of the paper
in circulation and/or online which have an incorrect Figure 2,
where the difference between W and W_expanded is not shown properly.

Note that these errors have been corrected in my master's thesis,
which is also available online.
