Here is Diana's father at Masada. We made the hike up to this interesting monument in
about an hour, and ended up coming down in the dark as the sun sets at about 5pm in winter
here.
After descending, we discovered that the next bus wouldn't come for a few hours, so we started
to walk to the road in order to hitchhike. Fortunately, a bus of schoolchildren who were on an
exchange program from Russia were leaving Masada at the same time, and they stopped and offered
us a ride to En-Gedi, where we were able to catch a bus to Jerusalem.
